02Epoxy countertops

Epoxy countertops for kitchens and bathrooms

Marbled, Veined and Metallic

Epoxy countertops are decorative resin surfaces built over a stable substrate. Marbling, veining and the same metallic epoxy movement we work on floors are all pulled by hand while the resin is still wet.

They suit kitchen islands, bathroom vanity tops, laundry surfaces and home bars. The finish runs seamless across the whole top, with no grout lines anywhere in it.

Flood Coat, Not Deep Pour

A flood coat and a deep-pour casting resin are different products with different limits. We name which one your piece uses.

We recommend a board for cutting and a trivet under anything hot — the same habits a stone or sealed wood counter asks for.

  • Custom color and veining
  • Over new or existing tops
  • Seamless, no grout lines
  • Kitchens, baths and home bars

Most epoxy countertops we build in Central Florida start the same way: the cabinets are sound and only the tops are dated.

03Concrete countertops

Concrete countertops

Cast to Your Dimensions

A concrete countertop is fabricated to your measurements, then ground and polished much as a polished concrete floor is, or form-finished, and sealed. It is a piece we make, not a slab we cut down.

That is why people choose it: integral drainboards and sinks, thick-looking edges, waterfall ends, embedded aggregate, and colors no quarried material offers.

Support, Seams and Sealer

Cabinet and base capacity, seam placement, overhangs, sink openings and how the piece physically gets into the room all get resolved before we talk about finishes.

The concrete and the sealer have separate lives. The body can last decades, while the sealer is the renewable part, refreshed on a cycle rather than replaced.

  • Integral sinks and drainboards
  • Waterfall edges
  • Custom color and aggregate
  • Indoor or outdoor kitchens
  • Sealer renewed, not the slab

Outdoor and summer kitchens are common here, and they need a different sealer and a climate-appropriate mix, not the same build as an indoor counter.

04River tables

Custom epoxy and river tables

River and Live-Edge Tables

Dining and conference tables, bar channels, embedded-object tops and decorative panels. The wood is selected and acclimated first, then the resin is cast in staged pours.

Deep-pour casting resin is a separate chemistry from tabletop epoxy. Every casting resin has defined pour-depth and mass limits, and we select the system that suits your piece and work inside them through staged pours.

Lead Times, Stated Honestly

A cast table is a fabrication schedule, not an install date. Cure time follows the resin system, the pour depth, the temperature and the piece itself, and we give you a realistic range before work begins.

  • Live-edge and river designs
  • Embedded objects and logos
  • Dining and conference sizes
  • Lead time given up front

A river table is the piece people photograph first and keep longest. Acclimating the wood to Central Florida conditions before casting reduces how much it moves afterwards, though natural wood keeps responding to the room it lives in.

05Concrete furniture

Concrete tables, benches and furniture

  • Dining and Coffee Tables

Cast tops set on concrete, wood or steel bases, built to the dimensions your room actually needs.

  • Benches and Seating

Indoor and outdoor benches, including combinations of cast concrete with wood or powder-coated steel.

  • Desks and Console Tables

Custom sizes for spaces where nothing off the shelf fits the wall or the alcove.

  • Mantels and Hearths

Fireplace surrounds and hearth slabs cast to match the surrounding stone or tile.

  • Sinks and Basins

Cast basins and integral sinks, made as part of a top or as a standalone piece.

  • Outdoor Furniture

Climate-appropriate mixes and a compatible sealer for pieces that stay outside through a Florida year.

With an exterior-rated mix and a compatible sealer, concrete handles a Central Florida patio year-round and develops a natural patina. How it looks over time follows the sun, the rain, the pool exposure and the care it gets.

06Bars and commercial

Bar tops, vanities and commercial pieces

  • Epoxy Bar Tops

Home bars, restaurants and taprooms, including encapsulated graphics, logos, coins or other memorabilia.

  • Concrete Bar Tops

Mass, texture and custom color, built for indoor bars or covered outdoor kitchens.

  • Vanity Tops

Vessel-sink decks, integral basins and floating vanities, each cast to your exact cabinet opening.

  • Reception Counters

Check-in and front-of-house pieces built to the dimensions of the space they sit in.

  • Restaurant Tabletops

Durable surfaces built for repeat commercial use, daily cleaning and the occasional dropped glass.

  • Retail Display Tops

Showroom and display surfaces made to whatever dimensions your fixtures and floor plan require.

Bar tops are what most people come in asking about, and encapsulation is why: a logo, a coin collection or a set of tickets sealed under the surface makes the piece unmistakably yours.

07Resurfacing

Resurfacing an existing countertop

What Can and Cannot Be Resurfaced

A resurfacing system is a bonded finish over the counter you keep. Its performance is capped by what is underneath it, which is why the inspection matters more than the finish choice.

Candidate substrates include laminate, tile, solid surface, cultured marble, granite and existing concrete. Each system lists the materials it is approved to bond to, and we match the system to what you actually have.

What rules it out is specific: a swollen or water-damaged particleboard core, loose laminate, moving tile, failed stone seams, or cabinets that are not carrying the load. We check all of it before quoting.

Resurfacing keeps your existing top in place and lifts it to a finish it never had, with none of the demolition that replacing it would bring — a kitchen that reads as rebuilt rather than patched.

08Process

How a custom piece gets built

  1. 01

    Consult and Measure

We establish how the piece will be used, what it is exposed to, and what is supporting it, before finishes are discussed.

  2. 02

    Design and Sample

Color, veining, aggregate, edge profile and sheen are agreed against a sample of the actual finish, because high-variation work cannot be chosen from a photo.

  3. 03

    Fabricate or Prepare

Forms, reinforcement and cure for a cast piece. Cleaning, abrasion and priming for a resurfaced one, so the bond has something to hold.

  4. 04

    Install and Hand Off

Support, seams, sink and faucet penetrations, edges, cure and seal, then the crew walks you through how to look after it.

Most of what decides how a custom piece turns out happens before anyone mixes anything. Book the consultation and we will measure, tell you what your cabinets will carry, and put the scope in writing.

09Care

Care, durability and what to expect over time

A made piece has three lifespans, not one: the body, the decorative layer, and the finish on top that gets renewed.

Where the lifespan actually sits

The cast body, the bonded decorative layer and the protective finish each have their own life. A concrete or composite body can go decades while the sealer is renewed several times over that span.

A resurfaced finish is only ever as good as the top it is bonded to, which is why we inspect what is underneath before quoting the finish that goes over it.

Day-to-day care

  • Use a neutral cleaner and a soft cloth — the crew names the one that suits your finish when they hand the piece over.
  • Clean spills promptly — citrus, wine, vinegar, oils and cosmetics can stain, etch or dull some finishes if they are left to sit.
  • Use a board, not the finish — the same habit a stone or sealed wood counter asks for.
  • Always use a trivet — nothing hot should go straight down on any made countertop.

Repairs

Fine scratches can often be buffed or polished out on some systems. Deeper damage means sanding and recoating across a logical boundary, not a spot fix.

We will not promise an invisible spot repair on a hand-worked surface. What we do instead is work to a logical boundary, so the repair reads as part of the piece rather than a patch on it.

Where failures start

Sink, faucet and backsplash joints, and the areas around dishwashers and coffee makers. Water reaching the substrate behind a joint is what we see fail earliest.

Inspect those joints regularly and at least once a year, and reseal them as soon as separation or deterioration shows.

13Questions

Countertop and table questions we get asked

Can you put epoxy over my existing granite or laminate?

Often yes, if the top is sound and securely supported. Laminate, tile, solid surface, cultured marble and stone can all be candidates. Water-damaged cores, loose seams and moving tile are not, and we check before quoting.

Can you set a hot pan on it?

We recommend you do not. Use a trivet, and use a board rather than cutting on the finish. Heat tolerance varies by product, and none of them are built to take a pan straight off the burner.

How is a river table different from a countertop?

A countertop uses a flood coat, which is a relatively shallow self-leveling layer. A river table uses deep-pour casting resin, a separate chemistry with a slower reaction and its own depth limits.

Do concrete countertops crack?

Fine hairline cracks can occur in concrete. Some are cosmetic; others point to support, reinforcement, curing or movement. We plan the mix, reinforcement, spans and cabinet support before fabrication to reduce that risk.

How long does a custom piece take?

Fabrication and installation are separate schedules, and cure time is fixed on top of both. We give you the real range at the consultation, not an optimistic one.

Do countertops need to be resealed?

Concrete does. The sealer is the renewable component, and the crew tells you which product is on your piece when they hand it over, so a future reseal is straightforward.

Do you build bar tops for restaurants?

Yes, including encapsulated graphics, logos and memorabilia. Commercial pieces are sized to the space and scheduled around your operating hours.

Can you build for an outdoor kitchen?

Yes. An outdoor piece needs a climate-appropriate mix and a sealer chosen for sun and rain, which is a different build from an indoor counter rather than the same one moved outside.
