FAQ
How quickly will you get back to me?
Calls during business hours are usually answered directly. Form submissions usually get a reply the same business day, from Steve or a member of the SCDS team.
Is the estimate really free?
Yes. No charge for the visit and no charge for the written scope, and there is no deposit required to receive either one.
Do I need to be home for it?
Usually yes for interior work, since finishes get chosen against samples in the actual room. Driveways, patios and pool decks can often be assessed without access if you can describe the use.
What should I have ready beforehand?
Rough dimensions, what the surface gets used for, photos of any problem areas, and any HOA color requirements. None of it is required, but all of it speeds up the visit.
Are you open on weekends?
Yes. Sunday through Saturday, 7AM to 5PM, which means a Saturday morning estimate does not have to wait until Monday.
Can I send a commercial inquiry here?
Yes. Commercial jobs start with a site walk instead of an in-home estimate, and the commercial and industrial flooring page covers what that involves.
